Well, the "Great 40th Reunion" weekend is over. I hope everyone had as much fun as Sharman and I did. The "Happy Hour" on Friday turned into a "Happy Night" - especially with the Phillies beating the Dodgers and all the crazed fans at Kenny’s Spirited Eatery screaming and yelling. (Don, I was just kidding when I said "Hey, you can have my wife but will you please move so I can get to my drink!" The reunion at Twining Hall was a complete blast. As usual, it was tremendous fun to see everyone - and a little bit sad and frustrating that it wasn't long enough to see everyone and spend as much time as we'd like. But I guess we couldn't really have a 24-hour Reunion, right? The Sunday brunch was great fun ... well, at least for those of us able to drag our butts out of bed and get there after a long night of partying! I thought Don Pearce's comment summed it up: "Damn, it's really early out there!" It was all well worth it, seeing old (I use the term fondly!) friends, making some new ones, making plans to visit each other in various places across the country, having great fun and realizing that we truly are a bunch of really nice people. Thanks to Don Pearce and Nancy Corrigan and all the members of the committee who did such a wonderful job making it a really fun night! Thanks to Hank Meyers for another great job printing the directory. (If you couldn't attend and missed ordering a copy let me know.) And thanks so much to all the kind words from everyone - it is much appreciated. Thanks to all the spouses who attended for humoring us. We're already planning the next one: The 45th in 2013.
